The Carnaby Rise Primary School Board is comprised of parents, a representative from the P & C Association and school staff.
The School Board’s role is to provide strategic guidance and monitoring of Carnaby Rise Primary School’s performance and to ‘increase the flexibility and autonomy of the school to enhance the student’s performance and learning environment.’
The School Board assists the Principal with:
- Creating a Delivery and Performance Agreement which will set out the expectations of the school and will be signed by the Director General of Education
- Creating a Business Plan
- Determining the school’s budget, key performance indicators and measurements for success
- Developing processes to review the satisfaction level of parents, staff and students and report the results in the Annual Report
- Creating the school’s Annual Report
